Public Comment for virtual meetings.
If you email a comment to be read during a meeting it should be expected that it will likely be read ahead of time as it would be nearly impossible to guarantee it was not. If you would like your questions or comments to be unread until the point in the meeting that allows for public comment you must follow the below guidelines.
- Deliver your comments in a sealed envelope to the City Treasurer’s office before 4:00 PM the day of the meeting.
- Mark Clearly on the envelope “Comment for Council Meeting” and “Not to be opened prior to meeting”
- Comments will be read exactly how they are written, with the exception of profane or obscene remarks will be skipped over.
Effective Immediately City Council has determined for the safety of the public and staff that Public Meetings will be closed to the public in an effort to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19. The meetings will be avaialbe via live stream via YouTube by going to: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6w5IOS19wa0_PAzQ1DNJHA
City Council Meeitngs-Members of the public are encouraged to watch the meetings to keep up to date with City business. You may drop off or email questions or concerns to councilmeeting@bradfordpa.com Any time prior to 7:00 PM start time of the meetings, which are the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
To be read during the meeting your email must contain your full name, address, and phone number (phone number will not be read aloud). If you would rather talk live during the council meeting you can drop off your request to City Hall or email prior to the meeting.
If you do decide to drop off a comment or request for call during the meeting please clearly mark the outside of the envelope “For City Council Meeting” if emailing please place “For Council Meeting” in the subject line of the email.
